How your data is collected, processed and protected by PokClock, GDPR-compliant.

1. Data controller

The controller for data collected via pokclock.com is Cédric Leblond, sole proprietor. Contact details in the Legal notice.

2. Data collected

  • Contact form: name, email, subject, message, to respond to your request.
  • Purchase via Whop: email + billing data managed by Whop. PokClock receives the email to deliver the license.
  • License activation: anonymized hardware fingerprint of the computer, to tie the license to the PC. No personal information is transmitted.
The PokClock software runs 100% offline. Player data (license numbers, emails, etc.) entered in the software stays on your PC in a local SQLite database. It is NEVER transmitted to PokClock or any third party, unless you explicitly enable the encrypted Google Drive backup.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Responding to contact requests (legitimate interest + consent)
  • Execution of the sales contract and license delivery (contractual performance)
  • Legal compliance (invoicing, warranties)

4. Retention period

  • Contact requests: 12 months after the last interaction.
  • Licenses and invoices: 10 years (legal accounting obligation).

5. Recipients

  • Whop Inc. (USA), payment processing and license delivery
  • Resend (USA), sending transactional emails (contact form)
  • OVH (France), site hosting

Transfers to the United States are framed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (SCCs) or an equivalent framework.

6. Your rights

Per GDPR, you have the following rights: access, rectification, deletion, processing limitation, portability, objection. To exercise them, use the contact form on the /contact page and select the subject "GDPR / Personal data", response within 30 days maximum.

You may also file a complaint with the French data protection authority CNIL (https://www.cnil.fr) if you believe your rights are not respected.

7. GDPR for poker clubs

If you use PokClock to manage your poker club's players, YOU are the data controller for that data. PokClock provides you with the tools (CSV export, per-player deletion, 100% local data) to meet your GDPR obligations toward your players.

8. Cookies

The pokclock.com site uses strictly necessary technical cookies (e.g. language preference), which do not require consent. For audience measurement, the site uses Google Analytics 4 (anonymized) and Microsoft Clarity; these tools are loaded only after your explicit consent via the cookie banner. You can accept, decline or change your choice at any time through the « Manage cookies » link in the footer. No advertising or marketing profiling cookies are placed.
