Why PokClock instead of legacy English-language software?

The reference tools were built around 2010 and haven't kept up. PokClock is built in 2026 for today's reality: premium UI, built-in mobile, exact Winamax calc, made in France.

Where TD remains stronger

Honestly: TD has 20 years of iteration on custom leaderboard scoring formulas and an ecosystem of plugins / shared formulas on the 2+2 forum. PokClock reaches functional parity (NCalc / Roslyn), but that community is still to build. If custom scoring formulas are your absolute priority, TD still has the edge.

Frequently asked questions

Before you buy

Do I need Internet to use PokClock?+

No. Everything runs offline, including the mobile PWA (which uses your local Wi-Fi). Only updates and Google Drive backup (optional) require a connection.

Is my player data sent to a server?+

Never. Everything stays on your PC in a local SQLite database. PokClock makes no unsolicited outgoing calls.

Maximum number of players?+

Per plan: 50 (Solo), 200 (Club), unlimited (Pro). Tested up to 300 players on 30 tables without slowdown.

Can I install PokClock on multiple PCs?+

One license = one PC (Hardware ID locked). The Pro plan includes 3 licenses. For more, contact us for volume pricing.

What happens if my PC crashes during a tournament?+

PokClock takes a SHA-256-signed snapshot every 30 seconds. On restart, restore in 2 clicks and resume exactly where you left off.

Do you provide updates?+

Yes, silent automatic updates outside tournaments via Squirrel. 1 year for Solo, 2 years for Club, lifetime for Pro.

Is it GDPR-compliant for my poker club?+

Player data (name, email, license number) is stored locally on your machine, exportable to CSV anytime, deletable per player. You are the data controller.

Do you have a free trial?+

Yes — 5 full days, all features unlocked, no credit card required.

Why PokClock instead of legacy English-language software?+

See the detailed comparison table above. In short: 2026 vs 2010 UI, native French, integrated TTS voice announcements, mobile PWA for players, exact Winamax PKO calculation, direct developer support. PokClock specifically targets French-speaking clubs — a market the English-language tools serve poorly.

Do you have a Mac or Linux version?+

Not for now — PokClock is native Windows (.NET 8 + WPF). The Tournament Director market is ~95% Windows, so we focus our efforts there. If Mac/Linux demand becomes significant, we'll evaluate cross-platform portability (.NET MAUI or Avalonia) — but it's not on the short-term roadmap.

Can I buy for several PCs in the same organization?+

The Pro plan includes 3 licenses. Beyond that, reach out via our contact form with your number of seats and the type of organization — we offer tiered volume pricing adapted to casinos, federations and venue chains.

Can I transfer my license to another PC?+

Yes. Each license is tied to a Hardware ID, but we can release it and re-attach it to a new PC — for example after a hardware failure or upgrade. Submit a request via our contact form with proof of purchase ; transfer within 24 business hours.

What is your refund policy?+

For Solo and Club: the 5-day free trial serves as evaluation, so no refund after license activation (per article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code on digital content). For Pro: 30-day money-back guarantee from purchase. If a major bug prevents use and isn't resolved within 30 days, full refund applies to all plans.
